Energy Performance Certificate - EPC

An inspection is likely to take between 45 and 90 minutes and will include the collection of various pieces of data including property dimensions, construction, type of heating and the method of providing hot water amongst other details.

The information collected is then processed using RdSAP computor methodology and an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) is produced. The certificate will include an actual energy performance for the property as well as recomendations for the improvement of that performance and the ways this might be achieved.

A copy of the certifcate is lodged on a national register and can be found at the Government Landmark website . Your accredited Energy Assessor will provide you with the appropriate number to recover your EPC. Details of Accredited Energy Assessors may also be found here.
